NFL

There are two NFL teams in Ohio: the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals. Ohioans can bet on either of these teams at any of the state’s legal sportsbooks.

The Browns are a professional team based in Cleveland. They compete in the NFL as a member club of the AFC North division. The team began playing in 1946 as a charter member of the All-America Football Conference (AAFC), and joined the NFL in 1950 after the AAFC merged with the NFL. Since their original winning season in 1972, the Browns have been in the playoffs 15 times, winning the AFC Central division championship in each appearance.

The other team in the state are the Bengals who are based in Cincinnati. They compete in the NFL as a member club of the AFC North division. The Bengals began playing in 1968 as a member of the American Football League (AFL). The AFL merged with the NFL in 1970, and the Bengals joined the AFC Central division. The Bengals have won two AFC championships, in 1981 and 1988, and have appeared in two Super Bowls.

NBA

Ohio has one NBA team within the state, Cleveland Cavaliers who play their home games at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in downtown Cleveland. The team was founded in 1970 and has won one NBA championship, in 2016. The Cavaliers are currently coached by J.B. Bickerstaff and their star player is Darius Garland.

MLB

Ohioans can bet on either of the two Ohio MLB teams, the Cincinnati Reds and the Cleveland Guardians.

The Cincinnati Reds are the oldest professional baseball team in America, having been founded in 1869. They play their home games at Great American Ball Park in downtown Cincinnati. The Reds have won five World Series championships, the most recent coming in 1990.

The Cleveland Guardians were founded in 1901 and have won two World Series championships, the most recent coming in 1948. They play their home games at Progressive Field in downtown Cleveland.

NHL

If you’re looking for a hockey fix when it comes to your betting then Ohio has the Columbus Blue Jackets, the only NHL team in the state.

The Columbus Blue Jackets play their home games at Nationwide Arena in downtown Columbus. The team was founded in 2000 and has never won a Stanley Cup.

The team is currently operated by an ownership group led by the Haslam family (also owners of the Cleveland Browns and Pilot Corporation) and former team physician Pete Edwards.

FC Cincinnati is a professional soccer club based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The club competes in MLS as a member of the league’s Eastern Conference and began play in 2019 as the league’s 24th franchise. The club is owned and operated by FC Cincinnati Holdings, LLC, a group led by Carl Lindner III.

What type of bets can I place at bet365 in Ohio?

There are a variety of bets that you can place at bet365 in Ohio, including:

Moneyline bets

A moneyline bet is a wager on which team will win a game. The odds for moneyline bets are usually expressed in terms of American odds, which means that the favorite is listed with a negative number and the underdog is listed with a positive number. For example, if the Cleveland Cavaliers are playing the Golden State Warriors and the Cavaliers are listed as -150 favorites, that means that you would need to bet $150 to win $100. If the Warriors are listed as +130 underdogs, that means that you would win $130 for every $100 that you bet.

Point spread bets

A point spread bet is a wager on which team will win a game by a certain number of points. The point spread is set by the sportsbook and is designed to even out the odds between the two teams. For example, if the Cleveland Cavaliers are playing the Golden State Warriors and the Cavaliers are favored by 5.5 points, that means that the Cavaliers would need to win the game by 6 or more points for a bet on the Cavaliers to win. If the Warriors win the game or lose by 5 points or less, a bet on the Warriors would win.

Totals bets

A totals bet is a wager on the total number of points that will be scored in a game. The sportsbook will set a total and you can bet on whether the actual total will be over or under that number. For example, if the Cleveland Cavaliers are playing the Golden State Warriors and the total is set at 220 points, you can bet on whether the total number of points scored in the game will be over or under 220.

Parlays

A parlay is a bet that combines two or more individual bets into one bet. The odds of a parlay are calculated by multiplying the odds of the individual bets together. For example, if you place a parlay bet on the Cleveland Cavaliers to win, the Golden State Warriors to lose, and the total to be over 220 points, the odds of your parlay would be 10/1. If all three of your bets win, you would win $100 for every $10 that you bet.

Teasers

A teaser is a type of parlay bet that allows you to adjust the point spread or total in your favor. For example, if you place a teaser bet on the Cleveland Cavaliers to win, the Golden State Warriors to lose, and the total to be over 220 points, you could adjust the point spread to give the Cavaliers a 7-point advantage and the total to 215 points. This would make your bet more likely to win, but would also lower the odds of your parlay.

Futures bets

A futures bet is a wager on an event that will take place in the future, such as which team will win the Super Bowl or which player will win the MVP award. Futures bets are usually placed well in advance of the event and can offer very high odds.

Live betting

Live betting is a type of betting that allows you to place bets on a game while it is in progress. The odds for live bets will change as the game progresses, depending on what is happening in the game. Live betting can be a very exciting way to bet on sports, but it is also important to be aware of the risks involved.
